The purpose built guest house is situated on five acres of parkland with an abundance of bird-life, and if it gets too hot, why not cool off in the swimming pool.

You can now enjoy country living with the convenience of the city close at hand.

We are located close to two major highways, giving easy access to Johannesburg (20 minutes) and Pretoria (25 minutes).  For the shopper we are close to three large shopping malls, all of which contain many shops, cinemas, restaurants and night clubs.

For the more adventurous, a 15 minute drive will allow you to enjoy the excitement of Emperors Palace and Carnival City, reputedly two of the finest casinos in South Africa.

Other facilities available locally include: Golf courses, bowls, sailing and power boat clubs, horse riding, health clubs and bird watching. We are also close to the John Barrable Sports Hall.

A booking service is available for local and national sight-seeing tours through reputable tour operators, as is car and microbus hire.

For your convenience Gateway Guest House also has a microbus which is at your service if required. Transfers to and from Johannesburg International Airport can be arranged.

We offer eight twin bedded rooms (one double bed and one three quarter bed) and each room can accommodate three people if required.

We also offer two large family rooms (one double bed, one three quarter bed and one sleeper couch) each room can accommodate five people.

All rooms have bathrooms en-suite, televisions, plus tea and coffee making facilities.

Our dining room serves breakfast, lunch and dinner as required. Barbecues and other outdoor meals can be arranged.
